estendeu desejos de Ano Novo a todos os cidadãos do país. Em sua
mensagem ao povo do Sudão do Sul como uma nação livre, no domingo, o
presidente Kiir convidou o sudanês Sul para começar o Ano Novo com uma
reflexão sobre o seu passado para informar o futuro. A mensagem indica
que um novo ano traz novas esperanças, desafios e novas oportunidades e
que o povo do país precisam para construir um futuro pacífico, próspero,
seguro e estável Sul do Sudão.
Presidente Kiir disse que é
lamentável que enquanto o país celebra este novo começo, ainda há
conflitos tribais acontecendo devido ao roubo de gado, apontando o atual
conflito no estado de Jonglei entre os Lou Nuer e Murle as tribos.
De
acordo com a mensagem do Presidente Kiir, o comportamento insensato de
invadir um do outro gado não pode mais ser tolerado e deve parar com
efeito imediato. A mensagem diz claramente que os bovinos são um recurso
nacional, cultura e orgulho e não deve, portanto, ser transformado em
um recurso maldição.
Presidente Kiir chamados os jovens de
Lou Nuer que estão atualmente ocupando aldeias Murle alegando que eles
estão examinando o gado roubadas, crianças raptadas e mulheres a deixar

President
Kiir said that it is unfortunate that while the country celebrates this

rustling, pointing to the current conflict in Jonglei state between the
Lou Nuer and Murle tribes.
According
to the message of President Kiir, the foolish behavior of invading each

effect. The

pride and should not therefore be transformed into a resource curse.
President
Kiir called Lou Nuer youth who are currently occupying Murle villages
claiming that they are examining the cattle stolen, abducted children
and women to leave Murle villages and back to the Lou Nuer villages
insisting that the government should be the one to continue the cattle stolen, abducted children and women. He
also asked that the Murle tribe to give up the culture of stealing
cattle and abducting women and children of their neighbors and to ensure
that cattle were seized and abducted children and women who are
returned to their families together.
The
President strongly directs the Lou Nuer to leave Murle villages and has
also ordered the People's Liberation of Sudan (SPLA) to come and
